Buyer guides

Equipment buyer guides

Practical planning guidance based on how equipment is actually used. These guides do not state prices, stock or brands — those are confirmed per enquiry.

Planning a school PE equipment list

PE buying is driven by class size, storage and the number of sessions running in parallel.

  • Count equipment per working group, not per class — six groups of five need six sets, not thirty items.
  • Check the storage cupboard before ordering: trolley and bag sizes decide what a technician can move alone.
  • Separate consumables that wear out each term from durable items that should last several years.
  • List size and age-band requirements in your enquiry so specification is matched, not guessed.

Football training equipment for clubs and academies

Session structure dictates quantity: warm-up, technical drills, small-sided games and conditioning each need their own kit.

  • Cones and markers are used in higher volume than expected — plan for drill layouts, not a single grid.
  • Bibs need enough colour sets to run more than two teams at once.
  • Match ball sizes to the age groups you coach, and state those age bands when you enquire.
  • Consider transport and storage between pitches when choosing goal and mannequin formats.

Setting up a strength training floor

Floor layout, ceiling height and flooring load capacity constrain a strength setup more than the equipment list does.

  • Confirm floor loading and ceiling height before specifying racks or platforms.
  • Plan walkways and lifting zones so two users can train without crossing paths.
  • Weight increments matter more than total tonnage for a mixed-ability membership.
  • Send us your floor dimensions with your enquiry so we can check what physically fits.

Agility and conditioning setups

Agility kit is quantity-sensitive and easily lost, so plan replacement cycles from the start.

  • Ladders, hurdles and cones are grouped by station — order in station sets.
  • Choose hurdle heights across a range rather than a single height.
  • Include storage bags or carts so sessions can be set up and cleared quickly.

Yoga and wellness spaces

Corporate wellness rooms and studio spaces are specified by capacity, hygiene and turnover between sessions.

  • Mat thickness affects comfort and durability differently — state the flooring underneath.
  • Plan for cleaning and storage between sessions, especially in shared corporate rooms.
  • Blocks and straps are needed in far higher numbers than mats for mixed-ability classes.

Basketball and indoor court practice

Court time is limited, so equipment should support several stations at once.

  • Ball sizes differ by age group and by indoor versus outdoor surface.
  • Rebounding and passing drills need duplicate kit for parallel stations.
  • Check court markings and fixings before specifying any portable equipment.
