FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Operational answers only. Where a figure is not stated here, it is confirmed per order rather than published as a general promise.
Ordering and quotations
How a requirement becomes a priced, accepted order.
- How do I request a bulk quote?
- Submit the bulk requirement form with your quantities, delivery location and required-by date. Your requirement is reviewed against supply and specification before a quotation is issued.
- Does sending an enquiry commit me to anything?
- No. An enquiry is a request for information and a quotation is a proposal. Nothing is committed on either side until you accept the quotation in writing.
- Is there a minimum order quantity?
- No minimum order quantity is published. Where an MOQ applies to a specific item, it is stated in your quotation.
- Can I mix a few items into one quotation?
- Yes. Mixed lists are normal, especially for schools and studios. Each line is reviewed separately, and any line that cannot be supplied is flagged rather than quietly quoted around.
- How long is a quotation valid for?
- Validity is stated on the quotation itself. We do not publish a general validity period because it depends on the items and quantities involved.
- Can you work to a fixed budget?
- Tell us the budget and what the space has to do. We will propose a list that fits it, or say plainly if the requirement and the budget do not meet.
Pricing, VAT and payment
What the catalogue price does and does not include.
- Are catalogue prices inclusive of VAT?
- Catalogue prices are shown in AED excluding VAT and delivery. Applicable VAT and delivery are shown separately at order review and on your invoice.
- Do bulk quantities change the price?
- Volume rates are applied within a quotation where they apply to that specific requirement. We do not publish discount tiers or run sale pricing on the catalogue.
- How do organisations pay?
- Schools, gyms, clubs and corporate buyers are normally invoiced against an accepted quotation or purchase order. Card payment is available where the order has been confirmed for that route.
- Can I be charged twice if a payment fails?
- No. Each order carries a single reference that is reused on retry, so a repeated attempt cannot create a second order.
Delivery and access
How delivery is checked before an order is accepted.
- Do you deliver across the UAE?
- Delivery is arranged per order. We confirm whether we can deliver to your specific address, and on what terms, before accepting an order. We do not publish a blanket nationwide delivery claim.
- How long does delivery take?
- There is no standard published lead time. Timing depends on the item, the quantity and your location, and is confirmed in writing with your quotation.
- Can you deliver to a school campus or a building with restricted access?
- Usually, but the access route has to be confirmed first. Tell us about lift sizes, loading bays, gate hours and site induction requirements when you enquire.
- Do you provide assembly or installation?
- Assembly and installation are not assumed to be included. Ask when you submit your requirement and we will confirm whether it can be arranged for your site.
- Can deliveries be split across term dates or a season?
- Scheduled or phased delivery can be quoted where the requirement supports it. State the dates you are planning around in your enquiry.
Products, stock and support
What the catalogue represents and what happens afterwards.
- How can I check stock?
- The catalogue shows the equipment types we supply. Send an enquiry for the item you need and we check the current supply position and lead time before confirming anything.
- Are the photographs of the exact item I will receive?
- Catalogue photography is representative of the equipment type. The exact specification supplied is described in writing on your quotation.
- What if the exact item is unavailable?
- An alternative is proposed to you in writing for approval. Substitutions are never applied silently to an accepted order.
- Are warranties available?
- Warranty applies only where the supplier of that specific item provides one. Where it applies, the warranty period and provider are stated item by item in your quotation. We do not advertise a blanket warranty.
- Can equipment be returned?
- Return eligibility is confirmed per order before you accept the quotation, including the request period, the condition required and any excluded items.
- Can I order for a school or gym?
- Yes. Schools, gyms, clubs, academies and corporate buyers are handled through the bulk enquiry route, with invoicing arranged for your organisation.
- How do I contact product support?
- Email sales@taqatfitnessgear.com during Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 – 18:00 (GST).
Terms used on quotations
- RFQ
- Request for quotation. A written requirement — items, quantities, location and date — that we review before issuing a priced quotation.
- Station set
- The quantity of equipment needed to run one drill or activity station, used instead of per-person counting for schools and clubs.
- Pack count
- The number of units supplied in a single pack. Team and accessory items are supplied in packs rather than singles.
- Lead time
- The period between an accepted quotation and delivery. Confirmed per order rather than published as a general figure.
- Substitution
- An alternative item proposed in writing when the specified item cannot be supplied. Requires your approval before it is applied.
- Service area
- The delivery addresses we have confirmed we can serve for a given order, checked before an order is accepted.
